Ap Nidup's Farm Stay

Open to the modern way of life just a few years ago, the Moenpa community still possesses a very unique tradition and lifestyle. They are considered as the native people of Bhutan. They were still a hunter-gatherer society until one to two decades ago. The village of Jangbi is a Moenpa village which is just 30 minutes drive from the Zhemgang-Trongsa highway. Ap Nidup, 53 is an elderly citizen of the Jangbi community who possesses a lot of traditional knowledge. He also hosts guests at his humble and cozy home and is always willingly ready to share his life experience and traditional knowledge to the guests. Just above his house, there is an orchid garden where golden langurs are a frequent visitor.
