    The Ngawang homestay in Merak is run by the village former head-person and offers a glimpse into a modern-day family lifestyle in a Bhutan village. The homestay is shared with Ngawang’s wife and their children. Guests will find the accommodations rustic, though there is a Western toilet available and additionally, a certain warmth and charm created by the family itself.
